The media could not be loaded. This bit comes in a nice tube storage case, and was sharp and ready to use. Have used a few times these past weeks and it has performed as promised. So far have only tried it out on hardwood and plywood, but have had no complaints.

The product received is exactly as described on the website: It's an up-cut CNC router bit of the dimensions 3/8-shaft, 2 cutting length, and 3/8 cutting diameter. An up-cut bit like this has a spiral orientation such that it results in a cleanly-cut bottom side of the cut, but possibly producing rough edges at the top, where the pulling-up cutting action tends to pull up wood fibers.It's extremely sharp, and appears to be a very high quality bit. 5 stars.

Impressed with this bit so far - high quality machining, consistent coating, razor-sharp, and leaves a finish to cuts that is what I expect from an upcut bit of this caliber.As you can see there is just a TINY bit of "fuzzy" on my piece of quited hard maple I used as a tester - wood that is VERY prone to tear-out.Definitely recommend!

I use this for cutting mortises in my plunge router. It cuts beautifully and the added length means I can cut a 2 deep mortise with a few passes. It is very sharp and makes exceptionally smooth cuts. The spiral pulls the wood chips out well so you can see what you're doing. Highly recommended!
