    Seems to cut ok

Like another reviewer said, you will need an ER-16 or larger collet compatible spindle to run this bit… it will not fit in the smaller ER11 collets found on most smaller routers or spindles. For the test, we cut partial depth cuts in the sides to make turkey calls and it left a nice surface at the bottom as well as the top, even though we were still engaging the upcut portion, there was no tear out. We also tried it to cut full depth pockets and it work fine but this really wasn’t the right use of the bit. So we routed a 24x24” test pc of ¾” plywood in both directions at .0045” per tooth and worked fine. You may want to reference one of your other bit catalogues for 2-flute, 3/8” compression bit for parameters since the manufacturer didn’t provide this data. I’ll need to run this bit more for a final conclusion but based on the limited run, it has been working good.

Depends on what it’s used for and how it’s used

I was hoping to use this bit to make single pass profile cuts through 1/2” 9-ply plywood.I made some test cuts to dial in the speeds and feeds. My spindle speed was 18000rpm for all the test cuts. The first test was two passes at 1/4” per pass at 60 inches per minute. Both sides of the profile cut were smooth as butter with zero tear-out top or bottom. The second test cut was a single 1/2” depth cut at 40 inches per minute. There was noticeable chatter and the plies with grain oriented perpendicular to direction of bit travel were rough due to tear-out.For the final test I ran one 1/2” depth cut at 30 inches per minute. Again there was some chatter, though not as bad as the 40 inch per minute run. This test showed tear-out on both sides of the cut and also some burning on some of the plies. The downcut portion of this bit does not appear to be as aggressive as the uncut portion. That may be why I was not getting acceptable cuts with a single full depth pass.
