The media could not be loaded. I've used my router table setup without a lift for too long. So I finally opted for this product and I'm very glad I did. Thankfully, the plate slotted in perfectly to my old Woodpecker plate slot, and it was a simple process to set up the 4.2 diameter 3 1/2hp router in the lift. It comes with a couple of pins to center the router, but mine was already dead on. Locked it in with the hardware provided and that was it. The thing is rock solid and smooth as silk. Should have done this a long time ago.

I've been using a cheap portable router table for a long time. It works OK but I've lusted over a well-engineered router table and lift system for practically forever. This lift system is a well engineered lift system with solid, heavy duty machined construction, sealed linear bearings, sturdy adjustment screws, and secure mounting system.
The packaging could be improved a bit in this area but all in all the lift arrived without issue.The manual is quite good with clear and detailed instructions.
My router has a 3.5 motor housing so I purchased one of the optional adapter collars to mount it.
This lift is a well engineered product with features that are comparable to some of the best name brand lifts you can find and is at a similar price point. The only thing this lift doesn't have the adjustment scale, but it does have an optional digital readout accessory. I'm very happy with this lift and am more than satisfied with my choice.

First thing to note - it doesn't fit my sawstop cast iron router table which i had intended to use it with. This is entirely my fault as I didn't do a thorough job reading the description. Lesson learned. It does however come with a template for cutting it into a table top of your choosing.My mistake aside, this is a really well built unit. I was able to run it through its paces in my home hobby shop in a different table set up and really liked how solid, rigid and accurate it was.

The linear bearing shafts are about 1 INCH in diameter, and the bronze threaded sleeve the traversing rod rides in is over 2 inches long. The photos are accurate, but there's nothing like seeing this lift in person and getting the feel of it. I haven't actually used it yet--but it is solid, heavy and extremely well-made. I was even impressed by the reducing sleeve I got for the DeWalt--it's fit and finish is beautiful. I won't choose to make use of the 4 corner mounting tabs--I think the unit can be mounted in a way that provides a level of rigidity more in line with the lift itself. In terms of materials, machining and heft--I have no tool in the shop that comes close. I didn't think one could still find anything made this way, at any price, let alone for what they're selling this for.
