This bit comes in a tight-fitting plastic case to protect it when not in use. Came with perfectly even and sharp tip. Well made compression bit which starts with an upcut bit and turns into a down cut for clean edges on top and bottom of boards.

Like another reviewer said, you will need an ER-16 or larger collet compatible spindle to run this bit… it will not fit in the smaller ER11 collets found on most smaller routers or spindles. For the test, we cut partial depth cuts in the sides to make turkey calls and it left a nice surface at the bottom as well as the top, even though we were still engaging the upcut portion, there was no tear out. We also tried it to cut full depth pockets and it work fine but this really wasn’t the right use of the bit. So we routed a 24x24” test pc of ¾” plywood in both directions at .0045” per tooth and worked fine. You may want to reference one of your other bit catalogues for 2-flute, 3/8” compression bit for parameters since the manufacturer didn’t provide this data. I’ll need to run this bit more for a final conclusion but based on the limited run, it has been working good.
