FEATURED COLLECTION
Works great on aluminum. I have been through many similar items over the years. This particular bit is very clean cutting. It is flat ended. Lease a nice smooth cut surface. It is carbide. I used it in a CNC machine to mill some aluminum for over an hour. When it was done, I couldn’t detect any noticeable wear on the bit. Good quality. Runs true. Looks like it will last a while.
The bit delivers extremely clean top/bottom edges and sides, with what feels to me like a little more resistance on feed rate (not a complaint, really). I’ve used it on a router table and also hand-held — very stable feel in both instances. Breezed through fir and plywood, slowed a little in oak, but the finish surfaces/edges are all terrific — you’ll still want to use a backer when cutting through dadoes though. I’m very pleased with the bit. Modest use so far but it shows no discernable wear or loss of performance.
The most well machined and the most smooth cutting bit I’ve ever used. It blew through cuts removing 3/16″ of endgrain of 3/4″ bloodwood which are both hard to work with.
Took only 2 days to deliver to TX. This is a nice hefty router lift and it does exactly what it says it does. Very well built with substantial weight.
It was easy to install and I have no doubt that it could support a lot of things.
Flawless. I’ve used solid carbide spiral cut flush trim bits for a long long time. This cuts a lot more cleanly than any I’ve used in the past, including big names like whiteside
